DEVELOPING BEAUTIFUL SITES.

An advertising company needed a site built for a strategic advisory firm. Upon receiving designs elements were broken down into modular blocks and set up a style guide that would handle everything at a global level according to designs. Working with the designer to achieve pixel perfect layouts sections like the transaction slider with a hover card effect.

Having multiple sites under the same repo was the clients objective on this network of sites including Soaphub.com, Gearjunkie.com, and Bikerumor.com. This was accomplished by building a custom library of Gutenberg blocks using Flexbox and Grid to achieve fluid layouts.

Tasked with completing a company site that was stuck in development, I was able to rebuild a foundation that allowed designers to create freely while avoiding hard coding elements through infinite amounts of page templates. Using Gutenberg and ACF they were able to make blocks for any design element and lay them out in a way that would allow for consistent spacing for designs while still being manageable by a content team from a non-developer perspective.

Given a design and only a few weeks to create a site I was put in a tough position. Using tested methods and my custom theme I was able to match designs to the pixel while also scoring in the upper echelon of page speed insight scores leading to blazing site speeds.

The Rehabilitation market is a specialized niche that focuses on SEO and usually leaves something lacking in the design. I was able to completely overhaul the company starter theme using my own custom starter theme resulting in massive site speed increases and a design aesthetic that doesn’t hurt page scores.

A dermatology website consisting of high design elements to give a luxury feel that the client needed to portray to customers. This site was completely redesigned down to the product pages and custom service selector based upon body part.

This site was a challenge in that it was built on an antiquated design with an equally antiquated data structure. The design was upgraded and the forms were integrated with the Hubspot API to create a seamless process for lead capture.

Developed and designed by yours truly. I was able to nail down a design the client loved and translated well fro the customers they were trying to reach.
